The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recruitment Leader to join an energetic and collaborative team to lead and deliver consistent end to end recruitment across the organisation.

You will be responsible for managing a small team of recruitment professionals overseeing the delivery of recruitment initiatives and processes as well as influencing change in recruitment strategy and practice.  

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the delivery of end to end recruitment and selection services across the organisation
  • Ensuring consistency, standardisation and quality of recruitment services
  • Actively build talent pools and candidate pipeline to increase the number of women in engineering and operational roles, people with a disability and from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures
  • Develop and implement hiring strategies that builds our employment brand and attract the talent required to achieve our business goals

Skills and Experience

As well as being a seasoned recruitment professional you will have experience developing talent acquisition strategies and be competent in conducting search processes and targeted approaches of individual talent.

You will have extensive knowledge of modern recruitment and selection practices, be confident in driving change within a business and be motivated to succeed.

Required skills:

  • Experience in leading a recruitment team of professional end to end recruiters
  • Extensive experience in successful development and implementation of a wide range of talent acquisition and sourcing initiatives and strategies
  • Understanding and recent experience of current and best practice recruitment technology
  • Ability to operate strategically, identify emerging trends and issues whilst having a strong implementation focus
  • Experience in leading and developing people to achieve their potential and deliver required outcomes
  • The ability to influence and negotiate with senior leaders, to resolve opposing views and achieve desired outcomes
  • Ability to operate creatively to deliver innovative solutions
  • Advanced written and verbal skills and experience presenting to senior leaders
  • Proven ability to form collaborative relationships and work across teams

Your ability to prioritise, strong attention to detail and customer service mindset is required along with a tertiary degree in Human Resource Management or similar.
