About the role:
These roles will provide general administrative support to the various sections of the People and Capability Business Unit to ensure the Sections and Business Unit are sufficiently assisted. The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills, be highly organised, show attention to detail, be able to multi-task and deal with sensitive and confidential information.
What the role will offer:

  • Proactively provide a range of administrative and general support across the work areas of People & Capability this may include; travel arrangements, invoicing, purchase orders, stationary and diary management.
  • Support the Business Unit Coordinator with the administration of Ministerial, board and executive papers, scheduling and diary management, event/function coordination and procurement processes.
  • Assist with the coordinating and preparation for meetings, reports, presentations and day-to-day activities of the Section Manager & teams
  • Receive and screen telephone calls, letters, answering routine questions and obtaining and filtering information
  • Provide exceptional and friendly customer service to Employees and colleagues by providing support, ensuring each query is dealt with professionally and confidentially


Key skills and experience:

  • Relevant experience gained in administration in a similar role within a large state wide multifunctional organisation, preferably within HR or an environment that deals with confidential information.
  • Sound knowledge of procedures and protocols required for Board, Executive and other Committee Meeting Papers
  • Experience gained in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in SAP is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Exception customer service skills
