The Manager, ICT Cyber Security is responsible to the Assistant Director, ICT Technical Services for leading and managing the strategic planning, delivery and evaluation of complex client centric ICT cyber security and governance programs, initiatives and strategies that underpin ICT Services goals and objectives and meet the requirements of the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), the State’s Protective Security Management Framework (PSMF), Information Security Management Framework (ISMF) and relevant regulations and standards. The role leads, manages and oversees the development of a high performing team skilled in delivering customer focused ICT cyber security services including delivering expert advice to the identification, planning and implementation of critical ICT cyber security support services and championing a partnering approach between staff, customers and service providers to build capacity and capability across the Department. To deliver these critical outcomes, and embed best practice ICT cyber security processes, the Manager, ICT Cyber Security is also responsible for leading, directing and influencing the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative communication and engagement strategies to engage with critical stakeholders from ICT services and Department sites, schools and pre-schools.

Special Conditions

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) child-related employment screening prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every three years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RAN – Responding to Abuse & Neglect full day/online training course every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the Role Description.
