This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting Council’s ERP Finance and Procurement solutions, with the primary focus on the support of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules. This role alongside providing exceptional and quality customer service will develop and drive the strategic direction and roadmap of the systems. This will enhance organisational efficiency through accurate and reliable information to enable the delivery of services.

Key activities of this role include:

  • Supporting and administering Councils ERP Finance and Procurement applications on a day to day basis;
  • Providing product support for business SME’s in all areas of Finance and Procurement including AP, AR, GL, FA , Cash Management, Expenses, Financial Reporting Studio, Projects and Supply Chain;
  • Investigating and working with support providers to resolve issues;
  • Developing and managing a product portfolio plan to ensure the strategic roadmap of the system is aligned with the current and future needs of Council;
  • Researching, planning and driving the implementation activities required for system upgrades, and improvements, bug fixes and system patches. 

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional development;
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the management and development of Finance and/ or Procurement systems, particularly in large and complex corporate environments;
  • Demonstrated experience working with large and complex Cloud based IT environments;
  • Demonstrated experience working with offsite vendor support to manage system and support issues;
  • Demonstrated experience in researching and qualifying opportunities to enhance the functionality provided by the system to users;
  • Demonstrated experience in project management of IT System implementations and upgrades;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in providing technical expertise, coaching and advice to relevant staff to allow them to effectively undertake their responsibilities and duties;
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, credible relationships and influence, persuade or negotiate outcomes that add value to the organisation;
  • Proven ability to assess and interpret information to formulate recommendations and provide specialist advice to enable the organisation to achieve quality outcomes.

This role provides a salary range of $1405.25 to $1686.65 per week ($73,269 to $87,941 per annum) + Superannuation.
