The opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager of People and Capability (P&C), this is a true generalist role which will see you partner with business groups to provide strategic advice & support to our managers and employees. This is an internal consultancy role in a fast paced environment that focuses on identifying opportunities to support business groups on the delivery of the City West Water strategic objectives.

The position contributes to client services delivery and utilisation of fit for purpose strategic initiatives and solutions in support of business enhancement. The Strategic BP is an advocate and conduit for strategic human resources development and works directly with the business and HR to determine and resolve business issues and employee impacts.

 

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Significant generalist HR experience preferably in a business partnering role providing strategic solutions to stakeholders in a fast paced environment
  • An ability to influence and work with client groups, senior leadership teams on P&C initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex ER / IR matters, including FWC matters
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
  • Experience in coaching and supporting managers
  • Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of HR Strategic plans
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and customer first mentality
  • Experience in organisational change and/or cultural transformation environments.

 

Whilst not essential, experience in mediation and conflict management will be highly advantageous.
