The opportunity

With a stunning waterfront view, this varied and hands-on role at Whangateau Holiday Park will see you working in an incomparable setting. As a Holiday Park Assistant, you’ll support the team with day-to-day operations, help the park’s guests with their queries and look after the physical maintenance of the park. Some of your responsibilities will include interacting with guests and aiding with check in and check out, grounds and lawn maintenance, cleaning, and monitoring the park reception.

About you

You’ll be a "jack-of-all trades", and confident with hands-on maintenance and DIY (either at home or at work). You’ll be comfortable working in outdoor and physical environments. You might have some experience with cash handling, administration and reception duties, though this isn’t essential. Most importantly, you’ll be a naturally friendly person and able to quickly develop empathy with customers, ensuring they have an exceptional experience. You’ll also need to be flexible with working nights, weekends and public/school holidays to help support the park over our busy periods.
