The Customer Support Officer is responsible to the Problem and Incident Coordinator for delivering timely and effective first level ICT Service Desk support services across all Department for Education sites to meet ICT service delivery objectives; providing consistent solutions to user problems, and assisting with the investigation and resolution of more complex issues, as appropriate under the guidance of the Senior Customer Support Officer; contributing to the continual improvement of Service Desk operations, including the identification and reporting of performance and service issues and contributing to ensuring that efficient work practices are maintained to maximise ICT support service provision.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) child-related employment screening prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every three years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RAN – Responding to Abuse & Neglect full day/online training course every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the Role Description.

Requirements
