At the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) you'll be part of a highly respected and professional organisation that allows you to apply your knowledge and expertise. The Governance Policy and Coordination Group is responsible for cabinet management, public sector governance, performance and reform, community security and emergency management, enterprise solutions and information technology, strategic communications, engagement and protocol and the department's corporate services. The Governance Policy and Coordination group also has primary responsibility for supporting the Special Minister of State. 

This senior position will bring an enhanced focus in identifying emerging policy implementation and public sector issues, leading and designing whole of government projects and reforms and overall management of the efficient and effective performance of the Group and its functions. 

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience working at an executive level, within government or the public service, a demonstrated background in identifying and addressing emerging policy issues, a conceptual thinker with experience managing a range of complex projects through partnerships with people and delivering timely and high quality outcomes. We're seeking a strong relationship builder who enjoys developing networks, both internally and externally and understands the importance of the impact decisions have on the department. A natural people leader who coaches for performance is paramount.
