Primary Objective

Provide a high level of Coordination to the Sadadeen and Tennant Creek store to enable them to undertake their business in all aspects of Inventory and logistics.

 

Key Responsibilities

1.       Provide management of the Inventory and Warehouse site in the Southern Region, including the Coordination of any supplier contract issues, demand management, back order fulfilment, inventory catalogue maintenance and warehousing and logistics functions.

2.       Provide logistical, assistance and advice to Southern Region Power Network’s Management in the running of all material handling and storage in preparation for project delivery.

3.       Provide management of Power Network’s material requirements ensuring the dispatch and returns processes are developed and followed accordingly. This will include assistance in the safe removal of redundant PWC assets.

4.       Carry out continuous improvement processes to ensure the warehouse is manage at an optimum levels

5.       Carry out duties in accordance with Power and Water's safety and environmental policy, safety principles, corporate values and behaviours.

 

Selection criteria – Essential

1.       A high level of communication, interpersonal, negotiation and facilitation skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people of diverse cultures.

2.       Sound knowledge and experience in inventory management, warehousing, logistics, catalogue, material handling principles and practices. Including sound knowledge of material handling practices and occupational health and safety within a warehouse environment. Current NT driver’s and forklift licences.  

3.       Demonstrated experience in working in consultation with stakeholders to determine and establish best outcomes.

4.       Proven ability to introduce and implement change in a complex business environment.

5.       Demonstrated high level of organisational and project management skills with the ability to analyse and resolve issues in a collaborative manner.

 

Selection criteria – Desirable

1.       Certificate IV in warehouse management

2.       High Level competencies in Microsoft Excel  and word
