Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive local government committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to join the Road Services team!


The road services team are responsible for footpaths, drainage, pot holes, heavy patching, signs, lines and asset opening permit restoration maintenance activities within the Randwick City Council Local Government area. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate ability and knowledge in concreting, operate plant and equipment and have a flexible approach to working hours and a preparedness to work weekends and public holidays if required. Furthermore, a commitment to quality service delivery and workplace safety is fundamental.


Essential to your application for this role will be your ability to meet the following criteria: 

  • Demonstrated experience in working in a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in an operational environment.
  • Experience in dealing with members of the public.
  • Class HR or MR driver’s licence or relevant other certified qualifications as determined by the Manager.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • An ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Be self-motivated and show initiative in the delegated areas of responsibility.
  • A willingness to comply with all Council’s policies and procedures.
  • A current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card.
