Queensland Treasury has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Organisational Development professional to provide performance, leadership and capability development initiatives to the organisation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and coordinating the completion of major strategic projects to progress workforce engagement, capability development, values and culture.

You will provide high level advice to senior leaders with a view to ensuring our programs are current and meet the needs of our people, clients and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will need high level influential communication skills and substantial experience in a learning and development environment.

Leading a small team, the key responsibilities of the role include: 


• Lead and operationally manage the team by developing and motivating direct reports to be strategic and effective in their roles to deliver organisational requirements.

• Provide contemporary, professional and innovative internal learning and development consultancy services by recommending and guiding on strategic organisational development interventions in response to future work priorities.

• Lead significant performance, capability and cultural change projects and collaborate and consult with key stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

• Design and effectively execute blended learning programs that meet business objectives by delivering high quality technical, professional training and leadership skills development.

• Develop, implement and review a range of organisational development related policy, strategies and frameworks to enhance the Department's engagement, capability, values and culture development.

• Provide thought leadership, share innovative methodologies and informed knowledge in organisational effectiveness by monitoring best practice trends.
