The Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to improve the integrity of and reduce the incidence of serious misconduct and corruption in the Western Australian Public Sector.

 

The Operations Directorate supports the Commission in managing investigative activities. The three business units, Investigations, Electronic Collection and Surveillance, work together to proactively identify and investigate allegations of serious misconduct. The focus of the Commission's investigative activity is on systemic and complex matters, many of which require the use of specialist capabilities.

 

The following roles provide a unique opportunity for motivated professionals to contribute to the continuing enhancement and growth of the Commissions operational capability.

 

INVESTIGATOR - LEVEL 6 - POOL REF: CCC02A

The Investigator is responsible for actively participating in the conduct of investigations, as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to ensure effective investigation outcomes into allegations of serious and systemic misconduct within the Western Australia Public Sector.  Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team the position plans and conducts investigations ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies and procedures and ensures investigative actions align with the strategic and operational priorities of the Commission.

 

SENIOR INVESTIGATOR - LEVEL 7 - POOL REF: CCC02B

In addition to the responsibilities of an Investigator this position initiates and maintains collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders which includes leading, supervising or participating in multi-agency investigations. The Senior Investigator ensures productivity by promoting teamwork, mentoring team members and contributing to staff development and training.
