Night Patrol Zone Manager

Location: Katherine, NT

Position Type: Permanent, Full Time 38 hour working week

Salary Range: Level 5 Indicative $67,069  + 

9.5% Super + Remote area allowance of $2,058 per year

Relocation Assistance Up to $5000 to Help You Move!

6 Weeks Annual leave with 17.5% Loading plus Personal Leave

About the Opportunity 

Joining the team in regional office Katherine NT, you will report directly to the Regional Community Safety & Wellbeing Manager. You will be welcomed as a key member of a dynamic team that is committed to supporting the health and well being of the community.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar position and relevant industry knowledge in the field of night patrol services. responsible for supporting the coordination of the Community Night Patrol program in all VDRC Communities and the surrounding ward.

• Ensuring all Night Patrol staff are in compliance with the operational orders;

• Liaising with external providers such as the police, community members and government business managers; 

• Maintaining a safe staff working environment.

• Ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted within time frames;

You’ll have the ability to prioritise and manage your work load effectively, in addition to being able to work independently with limited supervision. Travel to remote communities is a requirement and you will be provided with a Council vehicle for work related travel.

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a high level of fitness as this can be a physically demanding role. A working knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety regulations is essential, as is a current C Class driver's licence, First Aid Certificate, Working with children card, and a completed national criminal history check.
