This will help GRV to professionally regulate, conduct and promote greyhound racing and welfare in Victoria with integrity and care, and to ensure an engaging, ethical and sustainable sport."

We are seeking a Business Analyst for a 12-month contract to work on the implementation of the new Code of Practice for the Keeping of Racing Greyhounds (The Code).  The Code specifies minimum standards for the keeping of all racing greyhounds registered with Greyhound Racing Victoria.  The Business Analyst will review The Code and working with business departments impacted by The Code, identify the requirements for the enhancements to the existing IT systems to support the implementation of The Code. 

The successful incumbent will be involved in the three major phases of the Software Development, Lifecycle of design and build and test. Working closely with other areas of the business and the software development team to ensure functionality delivery and value.

Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business Analysis or similar
  • Proven ability to liaise with both business and technical resources
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Strong communication and stakeholder, internally and external engagement experience
  • Work in a collaboratively environment
  • Strong working knowledge of testing techniques
  • Proven ability to balance priorities and contain scope
