This role is critical to effectively implementing the Department of Education’s new model of school review. A key Education State initiative, this role provides the successful applicant with the opportunity to engage with school leaders, external stakeholders and key Departmental staff. You will be working in a collaborative, high functioning team. Your main role will be to support the development and implementation of the new school review model by contributing to a range of project-related tasks and the achievement of milestones against tight timelines.

Senior Project & Information Management

This role will focus on data and information management associated with school improvement.

It involves:

- supporting the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of school improvement activity

- engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including regional offices, school reviewers and other service providers

- undertaking quality assurance to assess levels of performance by serice providers

- possessing a solid understanding of data analysis to help prepare and deliver data for reporting purposes

- a strong understanding of information management principles and how they relate to specific projects

- proven stakeholder and vendor management experience

- experience with state government and state records policies and guidelines

- highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

To succeed in this role, you will have high-level project and program experience, advanced experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Powerpoint and particularly Excel) and be able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
