About the role:

 

Support timely and effective internal and external regional stakeholder and community engagement in accordance with Water Corporation’s objectives.

 

What the role will offer:

  • Provide communications support and advice to the Regional Manager and Regional Lead Team as required.
  • Provide localised content for communication materials including written, audio visual and digital communication resources.
  • Identify key stakeholders and customers, understand their needs and develop partnerships and relationships to support successful implementation of stakeholder and community engagement activities.
  • Support the regional delivery of corporate community and employee engagement, water efficiency and communications programs, including budget and tactical plan updates
  • Support stakeholder and community consultation and communications in the regions both for regional projects and for centrally coordinated and planned projects.
  • Plan and coordinate events and logistics, including internal and external stakeholder management

 

Key skills and experience:

  • Tertiary level qualifications and / or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in communications, public relations, marketing or related discipline.
  • Considerable experience in community engagement, stakeholder and issues management including:
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Developing and implementing communication and community engagement strategies.
  • Production of communications materials.
  • Coordinating events.
