Plant Operator (Skid Steer) / Labourer

Package Value - $58,168



Written applications are invited for the position of Plant Operator (Skid Steer) with 
the Longreach Regional Council - Longreach Branch, will be received until 22 June 2018. Late applications may not be considered.


The Position

In this position you will work under direction to operate plant (Skid Steer) as directed for road and highway construction and maintenance, town works and other works generally associated with Council operations and operate other plant where competent and licensed and assist generally with Council programs. The role also requires labouring/maintenance tasks when the Roller is not required.


Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this position you will need to have a demonstrated competency of a skid steer, current C Class (car) licence and a White Induction Card (30215 Qld Course in General Safety Induction).


Salary and Conditions

The position is classified at Level 4 under the Queensland Local Government Industry Award State 2017 and offers a nine day fortnight, 4 weeks Annual Leave, and a cash annual wage component (including allowances + leave loading) of $53,182.
