Written applications are invited for the casual position of Temporary Tourism Customer 
Service Officer until March 2019 for the Longreach Regional Visitor Information Centre and will be received until 22 June 2018. Late applications may not be accepted.

The Position

The position is promoting Longreach and the surrounding region to tourists and the general community. Duties include promoting tourism of the Longreach Region by being the first point of contact, ordering brochures and information booklets, producing marketing material, liaising with key contacts, maintaining current knowledge of events and tourist attractions in the Longreach Region.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant will need excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise your time and proven experience in an administrative environment and a working knowledge of MS Office.

Salary and Conditions

The position is classified at Level 2 Queensland Local Government Industry State Award 2017. It is expected the successful applicant will be employed on a casual basis working on weekends and covering RDO’s during the working week and for a minimum of three hours on each engagement.
