You will work collaboratively and engage with a range of clients to deliver high quality human resource consultancy service. This includes developing, implementing and advising on HR strategies, policies and practices that support the strategic direction of HPW and its operations. You will also establish and maintain professional working relationships with clients through the provision of high quality, timely and accurate HR advice on a broad range of Human Resources (HR) and Employee Relations (ER) matters (including employment conditions, workforce planning, organisational design, performance management, recruitment & selection, discipline, grievances, employee relations and dispute resolution).

Your contribution: 
Working collaboratively and engaging with a range of clients to deliver high quality human resource consultancy service including:
• developing, implementing and advising on HR strategies, policies and practices that support the strategic direction of HPW and its operations
• establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with clients through the provision of high quality, timely and accurate HR advice on a broad range of Human Resources (HR) and Employee Relations (ER) matters (including employment conditions, workforce planning, organisational design, performance management, recruitment & selection, discipline, grievances, employee relations and dispute resolution)
• negotiating and problem-solving to maintain positive employee relations in a complex industrial environment, including employee entitlements, dispute resolution and complaint management
• leading and/or managing a range of human resource related projects
• managing complex matters including case management of staff issues
• developing, delivering and facilitating training and workshops
• identifying and investigating organisational issues and their implications, recommending innovative solutions and options and facilitating the implementation of change plans
• preparing submissions, reports, correspondence and executive briefs on significant human resource issues and representing the department at meetings conferences and forums
• leadership and development of a small team 
• contributing to the evaluation of human resources services and initiatives to ensure these are directed to supporting the department's business outcomes.
