Reporting to the Manager, Procurement and Contract Management, you will deliver savings and benefits through the delivery of whole-of-government and individual agency procurement arrangements, and by providing advice on fleet and procurement related matters. In this position you will:
• work with and support the Manager, Procurement and Contract Management and Category Managers, in delivering risk and procurement outcomes for QFleet.
• undertake procurement activities as directed on behalf of whole-of-government and individual departments and agencies.  
• provide advice and guidance to other Procurement and Contract Management staff and key stakeholders as required.
• undertake research and market analysis to assist in the review of requirements and development of procurement plans and strategies for whole-of-government fleet supply arrangements and agency purchases.
• perform and ensure appropriate category management and reporting is delivered.
• effectively manage the communication and relationships with internal and external suppliers and clients.
• maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the risk profile of the QFleet Fleet.
• develop and maintain links with motor vehicle and supplementary industry networks.
• Actively contribute to the development of functional procedures that promote consistency and best practice within Procurement and Contract Management by monitoring and reviewing work practices and making recommendations leading to continuous improvements.
• actively contribute to QFleet's success through participation in other projects and activities as required by the business.
