The Aroona Alliance is a partnership between Water Corporation, Suez and Broadspectrum working as one team to deliver operations, maintenance and asset management to the Perth metropolitan water and wastewater production and treatment assets.

About the role


As Senior Officer – Service Delivery (Work Planning & Scheduling) you are responsible for work planning and balancing, resource optimisation, work completion management and reporting. Your duties will include developing work plans to deliver balanced work packages generated via the SAP planning system, facilitating team leader agreement to deliver work packages and monitoring/coordinating resource acquisition.


Your role will include planning and scheduling work based on capacity of resource groups in conjunction with operations and asset management risk assessments. In addition you will recommend processes and procedures to improve reliability and transparency of performance data.


To be successful in this role you will have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills.  A broad understanding of asset operations and risk based planning is essential.



Key skills and experience 


·   Experience or comprehensive understanding of planning or scheduling of work

·   Proven ability to analyse performance data for trends and facilitate corrective action in data and  work practices 

·   Understanding of the risk associated with ineffective delivery of planned operations and        maintenance activities

Well-developed organisational skills 

·   Strong computing skills (Microsoft Suite) with the capability to learn and apply Aroona’s suite of computing applications.

·   Strong capabilities in SAP PM or equivalent work management systems

·   Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline OR Substantial experience in a field based asset operations and maintenance in a large infrastructure based service organisation
