An exciting new opportunity has become available for an energetic and professional individual, having an Associate Diploma or Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent, to join our expanding Building Compliance Team.

The successful applicant will need to be highly motivated and possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in assessing complex buildings, applying fire safety solutions and the application of performance solutions. Eligibility for accreditation or accredited at minimum A3 under the NSW BPB Accreditation Scheme will also be held by the successful applicant.

The main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, implement and maintain the fire safety program developed for the Parramatta LGA, conduct fire safety audits of existing buildings, issuing Fire Safety Orders, and provide specialist advice on fire safety matters to members of the public and/or other council staff.
