An exciting opportunity has become available for an energetic and professional individual to join our expanding Building Compliance Team. 

The successful applicant will have an Associate Diploma or Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent, along with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in applying fire safety solutions to existing buildings and the application of performance solutions. Accreditation at minimum A2 or eligibility for accreditation at A1 and/or C10 level under the NSW BPB Accreditation Scheme will also be held by the successful applicant. 

The main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, conducting fire safety audits of existing buildings, issuing Fire Safety Orders, provide expert advice on fire safety matters to members of the public and/or other council staff.
