Customer Service Officer, Moranbah

An exciting opportunity exists for a fixed term full time Customer Service Officer to join Isaac Regional Council's Planning, Environment & Community Services Directorate. Reporting to the Program Leader – Customer Service, this position is responsible for providing customer service excellence internally and externally throughout Isaac Regional Council. This is a full time position required for regional travel providing relief throughout the region Monday to Wednesday and based in Moranbah on a Thursday and Friday.

The successful candidate will have a high level of written and verbal communication skills with proven conflict resolution experience.  Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high level customer service is essential in addition to previous experience with cash handling procedures.  The successful applicant will also have a high level of experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Candidates must have the flexibility to travel and work from other office locations within the region as required.

For this position we offer:

  • $57,642.92 per annum + allowances
  • Nominally 72.5 per fortnight, Monday to Friday
  • RDO’s in accordance with Council Policy
  • 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
  • 12% super (in accordance with policy)
  • Fixed term role ending Friday 8 Feb 2019
