The Finance & Businesses Program will effectively manage and lead the City Businesses, ensuring the provision of high quality services to customers in accordance with community expectations, whilst maximising the profitable returns to Council. 

About the Opportunity 
The Team Leader – Golf Business Operations will report to the Commercial Manager and will:

  • Be responsible for the leadership and strategic management of the Golf Links Customer Service team, Pro Shop, Horticulture and Kiosk operations.
  • Manage all aspects of the customer service team including rostering, staff meetings, systems and procedures in a professional and effective manner.
  • Ensure the provision of high standards in customer services and the integration of these standards across other areas of the Golf Links

 

About You 
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a confident leader with experience in the management of leisure facilities incorporating food and beverage, and retail, preferably in a Golf environment.
  • Strong understanding of recreational and community facilities management including community based leisure activities.
  • Understanding and awareness of current and emerging policy directions of the Australian and State governments in relation to sport and recreation priorities.
  • An understanding and appreciation of the rules and intricacies of Golf.
