Job Description:

• Located at Burwood East • Fixed Term Full Time (12 month maternity leave replacement) • $92,348pa (plus 9.50% superannuation)

About the role:

The Communications and Government Relations Unit at CFA is responsible for cultivating our brand and reputation and helping our staff and volunteer members communicate the CFA narrative through the stories we tell about our work and our culture.

Working closely with the Digital Team Leader and the Member Engagement team, this role maintains and improves the quality and accessibility of the CFA website and other digital tools from both the brand and content perspectives.

A key focus for this role is to ensure content is timely, branded and in keeping with the editorial and campaign focus determined by communciations group and other stakeholders.

A strong emphasis on web design and content management and data collation and analysis is required the role will maintain a collaborative working relationship with online services

About you:

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience in managing the development of online content to complement broader communication campaigns.
  • Highly developed skills in HTML, CSS, (Javascript, XML an advantage) and use of Adobe Suite e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat. An understanding of Liferay system advantageous
  • A sound knowledge of usability and accessibility design principles
  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to plan and think strategically about CFA's online environment, while also being an efficient technical practitioner with digital content development, web-writing, and project management skills.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships CFA and the broader sector.
