Working with the Unit’s Organisational Development (OD) Consultants (VPS5), this role will significantly contribute to the success of the Department through supporting and delivering a range of OD programs. This includes contributing to the change management associated with the results from the Department's People Matter Survey, coordinating induction, leading recognition activities and continuing the respectful workplaces program. The role also provides support to corporate people managers to ensure high quality, practical and effective OD approaches are incorporated into business-as-usual practices. We require a team player with exceptional skills in collaboration and relationship building, motivated by driving positive change within an organisation, and by successfully seeing a project through to completion. This is a full time, fixed term (12-month) position.

Organisational Development Advisor

The successful person will be results orientated, excellent at communicating and in building relationships and effective partnerships across organisational levels. They will also be adept at proactively implementing timely and practical approaches to OD programs aligned to organisational vision and strategy.

Experience and knowledge of a broad range of organisational change and organisational development models and approaches is highly desirable. The breadth of coverage for the role will include, but not be limited to, managing organisational survey results and action-planning, implementing recognition programs, and supporting the embedding of our Respectful Workplaces program business-as-usual activities.

This role will be primarily focused in supporting the corporate areas of the Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an organisational development practitioner to further their career in a large and multi-faceted organisation delivering the Victorian education state agenda.
