The role of Engineering Assistant Road and Transport Assets is to provide quality outcomes in the delivery of capital works projects and management of Council's roads, drainage and infrastructure assets in line with Councils delivery and operational plans. 


We are seeking someone who has:

  • Certificate or Diploma in surveying/engineering or near completion of an engineering degree, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Suitable experience in a similar field across a broad range of civil works
  • Highly developed computer skills in MS suite including Excel, Word and database management
  • Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Sound project management skills with the ability to scope, develop and deliver projects
  • Physically able to carry out the duties required including survey and field work
  • Construction Induction Certificate (WHS White Card)
  • Current Class C Driver Licence
  • Demonstrated conduct aligned with Council’s corporate behaviours supporting our values


Full time: 19 day month


Salary: $54,542 pa + 9.5% super
