Key Responsibilities 

  • Analyse and document ICT system requirements with users via one on one interviews, workshops and utilising document and workflow analysis.
  • Liaise with external software providers, consultants, and other local government authorities to identify and implement software and business process enhancements.
  • ICT project management for small projects.
  • Manage assigned small ICT projects including; stakeholder management, preparation of project implementation plans, coordination of organisational change management/communication, and co-ordinate allocated resources to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and advice to improve Council’s website author group’s technical capability.
  • Organise, create and maintain training materials for Council ICT applications. Provide effective training and coaching services to engage users and build user knowledge and capability.
  • Coordinate the ICT branch communication plan including communications schedule and production of regular communique.
  • Such other relevant duties as required from time to time which would generally fall within the scope of this position.
