Opportunities to lead Fleet Management, Workshop, Stores and Depot Yard Operations, form strong relationships and support and participate in organisational transformation in the heart of one of Australia’s most significant cultural and industrial hubs rarely come around. We are looking for a motivated professional for the position of Coordinator Depot Operations at the Town of Port Hedland in Western Australia. 

This role will Supervise and oversee all operational resources, employees and contractors within Fleet Management, Workshop, Stores & Depot Operations and ensure that all works are carried out to deliver strategic outcomes in consultation with the Director of Infrastructure & Town Services.

This is a unique opportunity to move your career to the next level by combining your expertise in the areas of fleet management, workshop, stores, and depot operations, from preparing both the annual and quarterly budgets for all responsible areas, providing training and guidance to all employees for continual improvement and identifying efficiencies both financial and operational. 

The position will be based in Port Hedland, a town of rich heritage, spectacular landscapes, friendliness, a diverse and embracing community and relaxed lifestyle. As the largest bulk export port in the world, the town is home to global resource leaders and is significant to the national interest.

The successful candidate will receive a base salary of $109,641.70. The remuneration package also includes a restricted private use vehicle, six weeks annual leave plus 17.5% leave loading, wellness program which includes discounted gym membership and pool passes, superannuation co-contribution scheme, training and professional development opportunities, generous paid maternity leave, family oriented and lifestyle supportive working conditions.
