Our vision is to energise the world and our mission is to feed, power and build communities.  An exciting opportunity exists for a full-time Manager People & Performance to join Isaac Regional Council’s Office of the CEO (OCEO) Directorate, based in Moranbah. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position works as a strategic partner with the Chief Executive Officer to drive the strategic development and strength of the Human Resources and Learning and Development teams within the People and Performance function.


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Qualifications in Human Resources/Business or a relevant field couples and/or significant experience (10+ years) in a similar role;
  • Significant experience in industrial and employee relations with the ability to represent/coordinate Isaac Regional Council in commission or tribunal hearings;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to resource, supervise and lead teams essential as is a high level of integrity and an ethical approach to business;
  • Proven knowledge of relevant State and Local Government legislation;
  • High level written and numeracy skills with the ability to conduct analysis, provide professional interpretation and recommendations in comprehensive reports and correspondence on sensitive issues;
  • Superior leadership, interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills.
